The island of Bali in Indonesia should definitely be on the travel plans to satisfy the wanderlust in you. There are many local hotspots for you to visit here and this article would make you a bit more well versed with some of the must visits and the local culture and conventional norms of the Balinese people. The Hindu culture and religion has mingled greatly with the Bali traditions. Family values are strong and detachment from close ones is an almost unheard of trait in this beautiful Indonesian island of the gods. Surfing Competitions, Kuta Carnival and Volleyball competition are some of the major events on this beach. However the glorious sunset is what you should never miss. It is an incredible once in a lifetime experience. 

 Tuban Beach is prominent by its proximity to the airport at a distance of a mere five minutes and it boasts of a lot of five start hotels for tourist accommodations. The lifeguards ensure a good swimming session for the travelers and if any riptides, warning flags are put up. The more quiet ones can just relax and sit on the deck, catching up on the latest bestseller. 

 There are beaches galore in Bali and these are just two of the many mentioned here. But if only beaches are discussed, other areas of common interests are missed out so here goes. 

 For nature lovers, the gushes of water which are cascading down from the Gigit Waterfall is a joy to behold. The forest greenery amidst which the highest waterfall in Bali has made its home provides an interesting half an hour walk for the tourists to reach it. 

 The conventional Kecak dance is held every evening on the rocky platform of the mesmerizing Hindu temple of Tanah Lot against the enchanting sunset. No visit to Bali is complete without a visit to the Sacred Monkey Forest. The tourists can buy fruits from the native vendors and with their tips, feed the local monkeys. This spot is considered an auspicious location for the majority of the Hindu population in Bali.
